Acupressure for the Lung meridian

Acupressure for respiratory support with Angela Chambers

Here is a simple sequence to tonify (increase/nourish) your Lung Qi (energy) and support your breathing.

Here's what to do:

For this sequence, I like to use Air blend by doTERRA. The Essential oils in the Air blend are synergistically working together to support our respiratory system and help us breathe deeply.
As an alternative, Tea tree oil or Eucalyptus essential oil can be used. Alternatively, this sequence can be done with a carrier oil or cream and no essential oil at all.

Apply the oil (or carrier oil) and gently massage the points of the Lung Meridian, from the thumb up to the elbow crease (as shown in the video). As you calmly massage the points, allow yourself to feel how you feel. Notice the effect on your breathing and your state of mind. You can do either side or both sides, depending on how much time you have. If you notice tender points, spend a little more time there to help the Qi to flow more smoothly.

At the end, you see me do a balancing breathing cycle to finish the practice.

The beauty of self-acupressure is that you get to know and help yourself at any moment. You only need your hands, a little bit of time and if possible an oil, that's it.

May you enjoy this sequence and deepen your breath.

Feel free to let me know how you go with this practice or if you have any questions.
